Lorgar Rankings Season 1: Tournament Recap

From Qualifiers to LAN in Barcelona

Our journey to Lorgar Rankings Season 1 started in the closed qualifiers, where we secured our spot with four consecutive wins against DALUYONG, Hyperspirit, Rottweilers, and UNiTY.

Those results earned us an invite to the LAN finals in Barcelona, Spain, where eight teams – four invited and four qualified – competed for a $50,000 prize pool.

Invited teams: FOKUS, SINNERS, Gentle Mates, 9INE
Qualified teams: ASTRAL, Hyperspirit, KOLESIE, Inner Circle Academy

The tournament took place on April 25–26, 2026, with all matches played in a Best-of-3 format.

The LAN Experience

Coming into the event, the team was in great spirits. There was confidence, momentum from the qualifiers, and a real feeling that we could make something happen.

At the same time, this was a new level for us.

We became the first team from the Baltics to compete in a Tier 2 event, which made this tournament not just another competition — but an important milestone for the team.

Our Matches

Our first match at the LAN was against Gentle Mates.

  • de_mirage — 13:4 loss
  • de_inferno — 13:11 loss

While Mirage didn’t go our way, Inferno was a much closer game. A few key mistakes in crucial rounds ended up making the difference, and the series closed with a 2–0 loss, placing us in the 5th–8th position overall.

Lessons Learned

This tournament showed us a lot.

The level of competition, the pressure of a LAN environment, and the experience of playing against strong Tier 2 teams highlighted areas where we need to improve.

As a young team, this was an important step.

We’ve already gone through detailed reviews — both as a team and individually with each player — identifying mistakes and focusing on how to fix them moving forward.

More Than Just Results

Even though the outcome wasn’t what we aimed for, the experience itself was invaluable.

Tournaments like this are not only about winning — they’re about growth, adaptation, and learning how to perform under pressure.

Event & Partnership

The tournament was organized by Lorgar in collaboration with StarLadder, delivering a high-quality Tier 2 event.

As Lorgar is our technical partner, we also had the opportunity to test and unbox their latest gear during media day — adding another great experience off the server.

What’s Next

For now, it’s back to work.

We’ll continue grinding through online tournaments and building consistency as a team.

We’re especially looking forward to the upcoming Stake Ranked event, where we’ll face Gentle Mates once again in our opening match.

Final Thoughts

Lorgar Rankings Season 1 was a new experience, a challenge, and a clear step forward for us as a team.

We didn’t get the result we wanted —
but we got exactly what we needed.

We’ll take it, improve, and come back stronger.
